"E-Discovery and Enterprise Data Management — What You Need to Know"

With the advent of Sarbanes-Oxley, Sec17a, Basel II and other laws that focus on data retention and accountability, companies across industries are at a higher risk for audits and potential lawsuits. In addition, updates to the Federal Rules of Civil Procedure (FRCP) have placed an increased burden on IT organizations to produce data as part of a civil or criminal "e-discovery" request.

Methods for protecting data in production may not necessarily meet the unique requirements for protecting data in non-production (development, testing and training) environments.
